Good eats

By Tiffany Huggins on October 15, 2010

As admission counselors we meet with talented students from various cities and countries, but we also take the time to explore and soak in the culture of their communities. Throughout our travels, one of our favorite pastimes includes trying new cuisines from our respective regions. As the regional dean for the southeast, one of the dishes I had to try during my trip to Atlanta was the world famous chicken and waffles.  Though not your typical combination, this savory dish will have you craving more. Well if you’re ever in Nashville, you have to stop by Cock of the Walk for their fried catfish, jalapeno cornbread, hush puppies, and sweet tea. You may also need a nap after your meal 🙂

Sounds awesome. I just tried hush puppies the other day in Virginia, and they were quite tasty.
