Green Summit

By Isaiah Buchanan on October 21, 2011

The 11th annual Green Summit, which allows students, faculty, and staff to come together in a think tank to formulate projects for sustainability at Colgate and the village of Hamilton, was held this week. The summit began with students selecting from eight different groups that addressed issues which ranged from campus recycling and eco-Olympics to making Hamilton bagless and hydrofracturing. Students who attended this event were treated to organic food from Hamilton Whole Foods and were able to meet with the Center for Career Services to discuss “green” jobs.
