The Colgate Office of Admission is pleased to announce that one of its own experienced admission officers is now conveniently located in the Washington D.C. metro area to better serve schools from Maryland to South Carolina.
Emily Thigpen, assistant dean of admission, and mid-atlantic regional representative, is now available to host informational interview days, meet with community-based organizations, and to speak at any college admissions-related engagements.
Guidance counselors, college counselors, and community-based organization staff members can feel free to contact Emily at any time to make a connection or with any special requests. Parents and students are welcome to contact Emily with questions about Colgate University or the application process.
In addition to her school visits and informational sessions, Emily is excited about working with the vibrant alumni network in the D.C. metro area, and connecting with students on the National Institutes of Health and Washington, D.C. off-campus study programs.
Emily will continue to recruit and read applications as if she were located on campus, and she has the benefit of being close to all of her travel territories, which include Washington D.C., Maryland (with the exception of Baltimore), Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
