Activities Fair

By Sarah Chandler '16 on September 3, 2013

Not even the rain could keep Colgate students away from the Activities Fair today! In the beginning of every semester the Fair is held to allow students to learn about and sign up for some of the over 170 different clubs that we have on campus. At the Fair today, I saw everything from the Juggling Club, the Running and Triathlon Club, Banana Bingo, to the Finance Club. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to walk around the Fair much as I was manning my own station as a leader of the Creative Writing Initiative. I joined the Initiative last year after signing up at the Activities Fair, so it was rewarding to feel like I had come full circle. Also, over 60 people signed up to be new members which is amazing! It was so nice to see everyone’s enthusiasm and to see the Quad filled with people.
