Class field trip to New York City

By Emma Loftus '16 on October 23, 2013

This past weekend I went on a field trip to New York City with my English class, Global Cities. We started off the day at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where we were given an introduction to contemporary art. Afterwards, we had lunch at a pizzeria in Manhattan. We split into small groups to explore the city on our own after lunch. Later we met up in Brooklyn to see a street art performance and then had dinner at a great restaurant in Chinatown before boarding the bus to come back to campus. It was an awesome opportunity to get away from campus and learn more about the City!
